With the deterioration in newspaper industry, photography has much developed and influenced other career opportunities for photographers. By the end of 2010, demand of digital photography augmented. Many newspapers, journals and magazines started pleading for online images. There is a range of career opportunities in UK, US, Canada, Australia, Europe and UAE for Photographic Lab Technician, Commercial Photographer, Medical Photographer, Digital Image Specialist, Computer artists and Portrait Photographer. Photography career other than film and media is now booming in business and individual consumers industry too.

Generally, photographer jobs include taking photographs of common people, no matter what is their purpose and need. Mostly they capture photos for people’s passports, any legal document, personal, education or a business document, special events and occasions like graduation, birthdays, parties, engagements and wedding ceremonies. There are many other specific fields like industrial photography, marketing photography, public relations photography and commercial photography. Freelancers do not earn as much as independent photographer jobs because freelancers use their personal equipment and personal resources. For triumphant photographer careers, related requirements like a good work experience, training from a recognized institute and some related creative skills are needed. One of the leading organization and dream workplaces for photographer careers are National Geographic, Reuters, The Photographic Society of America, and American Society of Picture Professionals.

According to a survey, depending on a specific country, type of work, skills, and experience you have for the hiring company, salary offer could be approximately $40,000 to $70,000. Any professional photographer job needs you to apply with an impressive portfolio. Experienced photographers who have been working and applying for different jobs can provide good leadership in helping for job seekers to learn from their experience as well as how they have developed their career path. Personalities like Mr. Gil Stose, winner of awards in more than 50 countries and Mr. Herb Ritts, a leading photographer in the field of advertising are not only pioneers but also an example for photographer careers.
